Common questions
Can you work from engineer drawings?
Yes. Stamped drawings and weld notes should be provided before work that requires code sign-off.
When is an engineer usually required?
When loads, connections, or code jurisdiction require stamped calculations or weld details. If you are unsure, describe the member, crack, or modification and we will flag when third-party engineering should be involved before welding.
Do you provide weld inspections or NDT?
We execute the weld details you approve. Third-party inspection or NDT is arranged when your engineer, AHJ, or quality plan requires it—we note that in quoting so nothing is assumed.
What should I send for a structural repair quote?
Wide and close-up photos, context on how the damage happened, any prior repairs, and copies of engineer letters or drawings if they exist. Access constraints and whether the member is loaded also affect the plan.
